Not listed: children
lost in infancy prior to 1758; three children of Sarah Van Dienst Jones adopted
by Thomas uncle Frederik upon his marriage to her in 1746.
Note: Thomas Dordrecht is the sole member of this family
to have met his mothers relatives since she emigrated in 1729. In London, he
lived for fifteen months with his uncle and namesake, Thomas Pennyman; his wife
Humility; their grown children Matthew, Elspeth, and Anna. (Their eldest child,
Richard Pennyman, was killed in Hesse, Germany, in 1759, in the battle of
Bergen; his widow, Lucy, and her young daughters Deirdre and Sally, live with
Thomas & Humility Pennyman.)

family is purely fictional!
